The wooden-handled drumhead NPdrums mace is designed for striking drum heads on marching drums, brass bands and percussion bands. It offers a defined attack, balanced weight and uniform response, with a handle that reduces fatigue in long sessions.
Wooden drumhead NPdrums mallet for marching and brass band
The NPdrums wood-handled drumhead mallet (reference 05-1700-00) is designed for striking drum patches, brass bands, percussion bands and dynamization groups. The combination of balanced head and wooden handle offers a defined attack, controlled weight and uniform response throughout the entire performance, in indoor and outdoor scenarios.
Technical characteristics
The mallet head has been sized to produce a clear hit on drumhead patches, without generating excessive bounce. The wooden handle provides rigidity and lightness, reducing player fatigue in long sessions and making it easier to control fast passages. The surface finish has been selected to offer a secure grip that is resistant to sweat and continuous use.
Model Advantages
Among the advantages of this drumhead mallet is its uniform response, which allows the sound cohesion of the percussion section to be maintained. The length and weight of the handle favor a comfortable technique both in static performances and when moving around the stage. Its robust construction supports the rhythm of rehearsals, performances and tours without losing performance.
Material and finish
The component is manufactured with a composite head and wooden handle, common materials of the NPdrums line, selected for their mechanical response and resistance to wear. The surface finish protects against oxidation, sweat and rubbing typical of intensive use. These characteristics extend the useful life of the product and maintain the aesthetics of the percussion assembly over time.
