Tambor de Cautivo – Warm sound with Malaga identity

The Captive Drum, designed and manufactured by NPdrums, is an instrument created specifically to accompany the renowned Band of the Captive of Malaga, present in processions and religious acts of great solemnity.

This model is built with a birch shell, which gives it a warm and full-bodied sound, ideal for deep and emotional performances. It mounts two "Cover" type rings, which help to dampen harmonics, achieving a muted and very characteristic tone, perfect for processional environments.

It features 8 tuning rods, precisely distributed to provide clear reference points during tensioning, allowing for fine and uniform adjustment.

The Captive Drum is more than an instrument: it is a sound expression of the devotion and respect that defines Andalusian Holy Week.
