SURDO BAHIA ALUMINIUM IPANEMA 40.6 Ø X 40 CM SILVER

Surdo BAHIA IPANEMA 40.6 Ø x 40 cm Silver – Brazilian Percussion

The Surdo BAHIA IPANEMA 40.6 Ø x 40 cm in silver is a Brazilian percussion drum NPdrums with an aluminum shell, designed for batucada musicians, samba schools and rhythm sections that need presence, volume and deep bass in outdoor performances .

The shell is made of aluminum, a material that provides strength and a warm, deep response characteristic of Brazilian percussion. The chrome-plated metal hoops provide rigidity and a finish resistant to intensive use, and the chrome hardware is sized to withstand the tension of the drumhead in rhythmic and batucated sections.

The Surdo mounts 250 micron white NP heads on both sides, a configuration that provides a round, deep and well-projected sound, ideal for marking the rhythm in batucadas. The configuration of 8 tensioning rods with brake nut allows a uniform adjustment of the tension of the drumhead.

Manufactured by NPdrums

The Surdo IPANEMA NPdrums is a NPdrums instrument from the IPANEMA line, with an aluminum shell and chrome hardware, prepared for rhythmic batucada sections that need presence, volume and good attack in the open air.

The finish and materials of the component are maintained in intensive use with regular cleaning with a dry cloth, avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture and sweat from the hands during outdoor rehearsals and performances. It is a NPdrums instrument integrated into the Brazilian percussion section, which facilitates replacement and maintenance over time, preserving the original properties of the product and the expected response in professional and continuous use over time. The combination of shell, chrome hardware and white NP heads offers a balance of sound, weight and durability suitable for musicians and rhythm sections who need a reliable and consistent instrument in street performances and regular rehearsals.
