The Caja Arahal receives its name from its link with the Sevillian town of Arahal, a place of great musical tradition within the field of groups and processional bands. Its history is related to the evolution of the musical formations that emerged in Arahal since the 60s, where bugle and drum bands, musical groups and local musicians were shaping their own style, full of character, strength and personality.
Inspired by the traditional Royal snare drums used in Bajo Aragón for tamborradas, the Arahal Snare Drum stands out for its metal shell and for incorporating a system of numerous interior basses, which generate a dry, intense and very defined sound. This strident and penetrating sonority makes it a piece much appreciated by large groups and music bands, especially to highlight the main touch of the drum roll.
Its powerful timbre allows the instrument to have a great projection outdoors, processions, rehearsals and live performances. Thanks to its fast response and characteristic sound, the Arahal Snare is ideal for musicians looking for a snare drum with personality, tradition and an unmistakable sonic presence within processional percussion.
