Helmet Uses and Materials:

These snare drums are percussion instruments used primarily in military, school, or parade bands. They are characterized by their sound power, projection and precise tuning by means of tension rods

Tuning: They use tension rods that allow fine adjustment of the drumhead to achieve a stable and powerful tuning.

Wood: They are usually lined in PVC, which improves aesthetics and protects the hull or finished in lacquers. They offer a warmer and rounder sound.

Aluminium: Usually anodized in colors, providing corrosion resistance and an eye-catching look. They have a brighter, more metallic sound.

Measurement: Although the diameter can vary (commonly between 10" 12" 13" 14" and 15"), the height is quite uniform, favoring the comfort and characteristic sound of this type of cabinet.

Typical Uses: School bands, military bands, processional marches or events with a prominent rhythmic presence.
