Bombos Charanga Comparsa Chirigota
The NPdrums charanga bass drum is a traditional percussion instrument that is an essential part of the charanga groups, typical of popular music in Spain, especially in festivities and celebrations. This instrument is characterized by its diversity of sizes, with a cylindrical body generally made of wood, and two leather or synthetic membranes tensioned on both sides by means of a rod with a threaded butterfly. The bass drum is played with a wooden mallet lined with leather or felt, producing a low and resonant sound that marks the rhythm of the festive compositions. In a charanga, the bass drum serves a crucial rhythmic function, marking the strong beats in pasodoble music, popular banda music. The bass drum has a prominent presence in parades, processions, and celebrations such as patron saint festivities, carnivals or open-air dances, where its powerful and vibrant sound invites the participation of the public and the creation of a festive atmosphere. In short, the bass drum is a symbol of festive music, charged with energy, tradition and rhythm. MACE AND STRAP INCLUDED
